How long does the film last?
Ultra Clear is backed by a 12-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, and delamination. With proper care, most installations look new well beyond that.
Can I wash my car normally?
Yes. Wait 48 hours after installation, then wash as usual. We recommend a pH-neutral shampoo and avoiding automatic brush washes for best results.
Does it really self-heal?
Yes. Light scratches and swirl marks in the topcoat will disappear with heat — sunlight, warm water, or a heat gun. Deeper scratches that cut through to the urethane core won't heal, but they stop at the film and never reach your paint.
Will it change how my paint looks?
No. At 98% optical clarity with zero orange peel, Ultra Clear is virtually invisible on any paint color. Your car will look exactly the same — just with a protective shield.
Can the film be removed?
Absolutely. Ultra Clear is fully removable with no damage to factory paint, even years after installation. A professional installer can remove it in an afternoon.
